Video: Libya Elects first Student Union since Gaddafi

After more than four decades, students in Libya have elected a national student body.

Student unions were banned under the rule of Muammar Gaddafi and its leaders were publicly executed.

Student representatives are hoping to bridge the country's divisions by bringing together universities from different parts of Libya.
