Video: Oil Deal Sparks Political Division

Libyan ministers are criticising a deal that ended the rebel blockade of two Eastern oil ports.

Rebels have handed the oil terminals they had captured last year back to the government.But some people believe the agreement could end up causing more disruptions in the future.

    We have to remember that "a camel was a horse designed by a committee"
    therefore a committee is no way to run a country.
    No Libyan has a right to profits the from oil. That belongs to the companies who find it and produce it ready for sale.
    But, any tax the government decides to levy, those revenues should be used for the benefit of the nation as a whole.
    Where it comes from and where it goes MUST become transparent and unequivocal by any government body, to stop this continual dispute.
    Other Gulf states have adopted policies that work and combat corruption at the same time.
    I think these should be looked at seriously by those in power if they wish to remain so.
