Libyan Soldiers leave UK following Allegations

A programme to train Libyan soldiers in the UK is on hold following a series of criminal charges and convictions for sex offences.

The plan was to train 2,000 Libyans, but the first group of 300 recruits is being sent home and the future of the scheme is in doubt.

The Guardian says that five officers have been charged with sexual offences including rape.
