Libya Threatens to cut ties with Qatar

Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thinni [Al-Thani, al-Thanay] (pictured) has warned that he will sever relations with Qatar if it continues interfering into Libya’s internal affairs.

According to a report from Al Bawaba, the Libyan premier said on Sunday that Qatar has sent three military planes loaded with weapons and ammunition to Matiga airport in Tripoli.

Qatar's Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, described the allegation as misleading and unfounded.
