Tatneft Sends Staff back to Libya

Russian oil company Tatneft has said it is sending staff members back to Libya nearly four months after meeting with representatives from the National Oil Corporation (NOC).

The company — the first Russian energy company to enter Libya when it secured acreage during an international auction in 2006 — said it invested more than $250 million in Libya before the revolution in 2011.

According to the report from UPI, Tatneft gave no information on the resumption of production and exploration activity.
