Libyan crude oil exports hit 485.149 million barrels last year, the Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) has said. This is equivalent to 1.33 milllion barrels per day.
Of this quantity, 379.508 million barrels were exported directly by the NOC, with the rest being exported by its partners. Local consumption was estimated at 52.668 million barrels.
According to the report from African Manager, Libya is Africa’s second oil exporter after Nigeria, but has the largest reserves on the continent.
