Operations Resume at Ras Lanuf Refinery

Libya’s Minister of Oil and Gas Dr. Abdulbari Alarusi [Al Arusi], said the 220,000 barrel-a-day Ras Lanuf oil refinery has resumed operations after shutting last week.

According to Bloomberg, a deal has been negotiated with plant workers who had been on strike since 25th January.

Libya’s largest refinery shut on 24th January because of technical problems, Abduljalil Mayuf, a spokesman for the state-run Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO), said on 28th January.
