Abdullah al-Senussi, Muammar Gaddafi's former spy chief and once one of the most feared men in Libya, has been handed over by Mauritania to Libyan officials.
He was arrested four months ago for illegally entering the west African country.
He faces allegations of murder and human rights abuses while he was Gaddafi's head of intelligence.
