Libya's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naim Alghriani [Naeem Algherinay] (pictured), met the German ambassador to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and scientific research.
According to the report from Libya Herald, the meeting took place at the National Commission for Scientific Research in Tripoli, and they discussed the issues that Libyan students face in Germany and how to facilitate Libyan students in getting visas and enroling at German universities.
They also discussed the possibility of opening a branch of Goethe Institute in Libya, with a view to teaching the German Language to Libyan students who intend to study in Germany.
The topic of renewable energy, including solar, as also discussed.
