Libya-Tunisia Flights Resume

Direct flights between western Libya and Tunisia have reportedly resumed following a year-long suspension. According to ch-aviation, Ghadames Air Transport and Libyan Airlines have re-started flights between Tripoli Mitiga and Tunis. Tunisia allowed the resumption of flights to the whole of of the country following investigation of the country’s security and safety systems. (Source: ch-aviation)

Shorooq Handles 25,000 Flights in 2012

Libya’s state-owned Shorooq Handling and Ground Services has announced that it handled 24,921 flights in 2012, according to Tripoli Post.
