Libya Pulls Out of Joint Border Force

A Sudanese army spokesman has said that Libya has pulled out of the joint border force with Sudan.

According to Libya Herald, when the force was announced in 2012, it appeared to be more a diplomatic move by the-then Zeidan government than a major military initiative.

The route from Kufra to Sudan and Chad has, since the revolution, been dominated by smugglers, said to include Tebus working with fellow Tebus across the border.
