Libya has dropped all arrest warrants and travel bans imposed by the regime of Muamar Ghaddafi against the dictator's opponents, reports AFP.
Interior Minister Ashour Shawyel took the decision in response to difficulties encountered by opponents of the former regime when travelling abroad on official missions.
A large numbers of former dissidents hold senior positions within the new government and national assembly, and have faced problems when travelling abroad, particularly to countries that had security agreements with the former regime.
